Denomination Relations Team - This team monitors and reports to the congregation on the activities of other religious bodies with which Peakland decides to partner. Contact, or the Church Office 384-2031.
Diaconate - Deacons assist the Minister in the spiritual nurture of the congregation by each serving as "under-shepherd" to a small group of members and friends with whom they are in contact and to whom they provide support. Contact Bill Painter at 384-0559, or the Church Office 384-2031.
Education Team - This team formulates and recommends staff and resources for the Church School, Vacation Bible School, youth, and other educational programs. Contact Nancy Sale at 384-1190, or the Church Office 384-2031.
Facilities Team - This team maintains, in proper and attractive condition, the buildings and grounds belonging to the congregation and all associated equipment. Contact Jim Ray at 384-4872, or the Church Office 384-2031.
Fellowship Team - This team offers opportunities for persons to establish bonds of belonging with one another and the congregation through a variety of social and recreational activities. Contact the Church Office 384-2031.
Ministry Support Team - This team matches individuals with suitable ministry opportunities, recommends a slate of officers at the annual meeting, and provides for the ongoing development of all volunteers. Contact Susan Epling at 540-297-5551, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Missions Team - This team leads the congregation in establishing outreach ministry goals and in offering practical service to others. Contact Carroll Brown at 540-296-1487, or the Church Office at 384-2031
Outreach/Publicity Team - This team provides leadership for efforts to increase the visibility of our congregation, to publicize events and ministries, and to invite people to become members of our congregation. Contact Ron Rash at 386-5544, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Stewardship Team - This team leads the church in the process of defining an annual unified budget and monitors receipts and expenditures in keeping with the fiscal boundaries of the budget. Contact Amy Ray at 384-4872, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
Personnel Team - This team establishes and maintains written policies and procedures, including job descriptions, for all paid staff members. Contact Linda Williams at 384-7170 for more information.
Women's Christian Fellowship - This fellowship of women serves the congregation by promoting and involving the church in direct mission projects and by providing circles of Christian growth and encouragement of the women of the church. Worship Team - This team provides leadership and resources to enrich the worship life of our congregation, families, and individuals. Contact Jim Patterson at 528-4574, or the Church Office at 384-2031.
